Veg Manchurian Recipe - Manchurian Gravy Recipe

Manchurian is a popular Chinese Recipe. Today we will make Manchurian gravy at home. This recipe can be enjoyed either with Fried Rice or Noodles. We have prepared the Manchurian balls with fresh vegetables like carrots, cabbage, capsicum and spring onions. This is a very simple Chinese recipe and is loved by all ages. So make this recipe at home and enjoy with your family and friends.
For Manchurian Balls:
  • 1 Cup Grated Carrots (Gajar)
  • 1 Cup Finely Chopped Spring Onions
  • 1 Cup Finely Chopped Cabbage (Patta Gobi)
  • ½ Cup of Finely Chopped Capsicum (Shimla Mirch)
  • 2 Tablespoons Corn Flour
  • 2 Tablespoons of Rice Flour (Chawal ka Atta)
  • 2 Teaspoons of Soya Sauce
  • 2 Teaspoons of Green Chilli Sauce
  • Salt
For Gravy:
  • ½ Cup Spring Onions
  • 2-3 Finely Chopped Green Chillies (Hari Mirch)
  • 1-1.5 Inch Finely Chopped Ginger (Adrak)
  • 10-12 Finely Chopped Garlic Cloves (Lehsun)
  • 3-4 Teaspoons of Corn Flour-Water Mixture ( ½  Cup Water : 2 Teaspoons of Corn Flour)
  • 1.5-2 Teaspoon Soya Sauce
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Green Chilli Sauce
  • 1.5-2 Teaspoon Red Chilli Sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon Vinegar
  • Salt 
  1. In a mixing bowl add grated carrots, chopped spring onions, finely chopped cabbage, finely chopped capsicum and salt. Mix well and let it rest for 5-7 minutes.
  2. Squeeze the water from the vegetables take them in a bowl and add soya sauce, green chilli sauce, rice flour and corn flour. Mix well and prepare a thick batter to prepare Manchurian balls.
  3. Prepare Manchurian balls and deep fry them in oil.
  4. For the gravy, heat some oil and add  chopped ginger, chopped garlic and chopped green chillies, sauté them well.
  5. Add chopped spring onions and stir till they settle down.
  6. Add soya sauce, green chilli sauce, red chilli sauce and vinegar. Stir well.
  7. Add corn flour -water mixture and stir well.
  8. Add salt and water and prepare the gravy.
  9. Add the Manchurian balls and simmer for 2 minutes. Veg Manchurian is ready.
