Sandwich Green Chutney Recipe - Green Chutney for Chaat Recipes

Today we will make very basic but important ingredient of chaat recipes, we will make green chutney. This green chutney is tangy, spicy and full of flavours. To make a perfect and chatapati green chutney there are few secret ingredients which give the bright green colour to the chutney and a smooth texture. You can use this chutney in chaat items or even in Vada Pav.
Recipe:
Ingredients:
  • ½ Cup Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
  • ¼ Cup Mint Leaves (Pudina)
  • 1 Teaspoon Split Chana Dal (Daliya)
  • 2-3 Green Chillies (Hari Mirch)
  • 2-3 Small Pieces of Onion
  • 2-3 Garlic Cloves (Lehsun)
  • ½ Inch Ginger (Adrak)
  • ½ Teaspoon Roasted Cumin Seed (Jeera) Powder
  • ½ Teaspoon Chaat Masala
  • Juice of 1 Lemon
  • Salt
Procedure:
  1. In a mixer cup add green chillies, small pieces of onion, garlic cloves, ginger, roasted cumin seed powder, chaat masala, lemon juice,  split chana dal, mint leaves, coriander leaves and salt.
  2. Add some water and grind it well. Green Chutney is ready.
