Red Dosa Chutney - South Indian Dosa Chutney Recipe - Easy Chutneys

In this recipe we will make an unique but tasty Dosa Chutney. This chutney consists of ingredients like mustard seeds, kadhi patta, onion, tomato, garlic, ginger and many more interesting ingredients. The procedure to make this chutney is different than the usual dosa chutney recipe. You can enjoy this chutney with idli and uttapam also but it is best enjoyed with moong dal dosa.   • 1 Diced Small Onion
  • 1 Diced Small Tomato
  • 1 Teaspoon Split Chana Dal (Dalia)
  • 1.5-2 Inch of Ginger
  • 2-3 Tamarind (Imli) Pieces
  • 8-10 Curry Leaves (Kadi Patta)
  • 1 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds (Rai)
  • 1.5-2 Teaspoons of Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Jaggery (Gud)
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Oil
  1. Heat some oil and mustard seeds, curry leaves, onion and tomato. Stir well.
  2. Add split chana dal, ginger and tamarind and sauté it well. Add salt, water and jaggery. Stir the jaggery melts.
  3. Switch off the gas and add red chilli powder. Stir well and let the mixture cool down.
  4. Take the mixture in a mixer cup and ice cubes. Grind it and make a smooth chutney. Dosa Chutney is ready.

Enjoy this Chutney With
