Corn Recipe - Makai Nu Shaak - Quick Corn Recipe

  • 250 Grams Boiled Corn
  • 2 Chopped Onions
  • 1 Chopped Tomato
  • 1.5-2 Teaspoons of Ginger-Garlic (Adrak-Lehsun) Paste
  • ¼ Cup Cashew (Kaju) Paste
  • 2-3 Dried Red Chillies (Sukhi Lal Mirch)
  • 8-10 Curry Leaves (Kadi Patta)
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • ½ Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1.5-2 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
  • Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Oil
  1. Heat oil and add cumin seeds, asafoetida, dried red chillies, curry leaves and chopped onion. Stir till the onion turns golden  brown.
  2. Add chopped tomato, ginger-garlic paste and sauté it well.
  3. Now add turmeric powder, dhana jeera powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and cashew paste. Mix well.
  4. Add corn and salt. Stir well.
  5. Add water as per requirement and stir well. Close lid and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Garnish it with some coriander leaves and Makai Nu Shaak is ready to relish.
