Bharela Ravaiya - Quick Bharela Ringan Nu Shaak by Gujarati Rasoi

Today we will make Bharela Ringan nu shaak in a different way. In this bharela ravaiya we have used green masala consisting of coconut, peanuts, green chilli and garlic.   • ½ Cup Grated Dried Coconut (Sukka Nariyal)
  • ¼ Cup Roasted Peanuts (Singdana)
  • ½ Cup Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
  • 8-10 Green Chillies (Hari Mirch)
  • 8-10 Garlic Cloves (Lehsun)
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • Salt

  1. In a mixer cup add grated dried coconut, roasted peanuts, green chillies, garlic, cumin seeds, salt and coriander leaves. Grind it into a paste.
  2. Make slits in the brinjals and fill the masala inside.
  3. Heat some oil in pan and place the stuffed brinjals. Give it a stir and then close lid. Cook for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Turn the brinjals and cook the other side. Again close lid and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Now add some of the masala and sauté it in the oil. Add some water and give it a stir.
  6. Close lid and cook for 2-3 minutes. Bharela Ringan nu shaak is ready.
