Narendra Modi Favorite Recipe - Gujarati Sadi Khichdi Recipe

Ingredients:
  • 2 Cups of Washed Rice
  • 1 Cup of Tur Dal
  • 4-5 Cups of Water
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Power (Haldi)
  • Salt
  • Ghee
Procedure:
  1. In an utensil take washed rice and washed tur dal.
  2. In a pressure cooker take some water and place this utensil. Add water, turmeric powder and salt. Mix well.
  3. Add some ghee, this will give a nice taste to the Khichdi and will separate the rice grains.
  4. Close lid and pressure cook for 4-5 whistles. Gujarati Khichdi is ready, top it with some ghee and serve it with papad, chaas and some pickle or gravy.
