Kobi Tameta Nu Shaak | A Different Kobi Nu Shaak Recipe | Gujarati Rasoi

  • 250 Grams Finely Chopped Cabbage (Patta Gobi)
  • 1 Finely Chopped Tomato
  • 1 Finely Chopped Onion
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • ½ Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
  • 1 Inch Finely Chopped Ginger (Adrak)
  • 1-2 Finely Chopped Green Chilies (Hari Mirch)
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  • 1.5-2 Teaspoon Red Chili (Lal Mirch) Powder
  1. Heat some oil and add cumin seeds, asafoetida, chopped ginger and chopped green chilies. Sauté them well.
  2. Add finely chopped onion and stir till it turns transparent.
  3. Add turmeric powder, dhana jeera powder, red chili powder and  mix well.
  4. Add 250 grams of chopped cabbage and stir well.
  5. Add salt as per taste and mix well.
  6. Close lid and cook for 3-5 minutes.
  7. Add chopped tomato and stir well.
  8. Garnish with coriander leaves and kobi nu shaak is ready.
