Aamras Recipe | Keri No Ras | Gujarati Rasoi

No summer is complete without the all time favourite Keri No Ras. Keri No Ras is not a recipe but a technique to extract the pulp of the mango and make it smooth so that it can be enjoyed on a hot summer day. Ras Puri is a popular combination which enjoyed by the Gujarati community everyday in the mango season. In this video we will show you how to prepare smooth and delicious Keri No Ras without sugar. If you have nice and ripe mangoes, a perfect Keri No Ras requires no sugar to make it sweet. Recipe: Ingredients –
  • Mangoes
  • Milk
  • Cardamom Powder
Method –
  1. Soak mangoes for 5-6 hours in water.
  2. Soften the mangoes by pressing from all sides.
  3. Now remove the upper part and squeeze it to extract the pulp.
  4. Put the skin and the seeds in a separate bowl.
  5. Add some milk to the bowl with skin and seeds and extract the remaining pulp.
  6. Add this milk to mango pulp and blend it in a mixer.
  7. Add some cardamom powder.
  8. Keri No Ras is ready to eat.
