Chundo is a traditional Gujarati recipe which is prepared by sun drying a mixture of mangoes and sugar and the result is a yummy keri no chundo. But in this video we will show you how to make chundo at home quickly without drying in the sun. This quick chundo recipe has a peculiar spicy and sweet taste along with yummy taste of kaachi keri.

Ingredients:
  • 600 Grams Rajapuri Raw Mangoes
  • 600 Grams Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 2-3 Pieces of Cinnamon
  • 4-5 Cloves
  • 1 Teaspoon Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
  • ½ Teaspoon Roasted Cumin Seed Powder (Jeera Powder)
  • Salt
Procedure:
  1. Peel the raw mangoes and grate them.
  2. Add them to pan. Add turmeric powder, salt and sugar.
  3. Switch on the gas and stir till sugar melts.
  4. Increase the flame and stir continuously.
  5. Stir till sugar reaches 1 Thread consistency.
  6. Switch off the gas and let the mixture cool.
  7. Now add cinnamon, cloves, red chilli powder and roasted jeera powder.
  8. Mix well and Keri No Chundo is ready to eat.
