Ingredients:
- 150 Grams Cashew Nuts (Kaju)
- Paste of 2 Onions
- Puree of 2 Tomatoes
- ½ Cup Cashew Nut (Kaju) Paste
- ½ Cup Cream (Malai)
- 1-1.5 Teaspoon Ginger-Garlic (Adrak-Lehsun) Paste
- 4-5 Black Peppercorns (Sabut Kali Mirch)
- 4-5 Cloves (Laung)
- 2-3 Cinnamon Sticks (Dalchini)
- 2-3 Cardamom (Elaichi)
- 2 Bay Leaves (Tej Patta)
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
- ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
- 1-1..5 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
- 1.5-2 Teaspoon Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
- 1-1.5 Teaspoon Dried Fenugreek (Kasuri Methi)
- Salt
- Water
- Oil
- Shallow fry the cashew nuts.
- Now heat some oil and add cumin seeds, black peppercorns, cloves, cinnamon sticks, cardamom and bay leaves. Stir well.
- Add onion paste and stir till it turns golden brown.
- Add ginger garlic paste and stir well.
- Now add tomato puree and cashew nut paste. Stir well.
- Add cream and stir well
- Add turmeric powder, dhana jeera powder, red chilli powder and mix well.
- Add shallow fried cashew nuts and stir well.
- Add water and prepare the gravy.
- Add salt as per taste and mix well.
- Add garam masala and dried fenugreek and mix well.
- Close lid and cook for 3-5 minutes.
- Kaju Curry Masala is ready.
