  • 150 Grams Cashew Nuts (Kaju)
  • Paste of 2 Onions
  • Puree of 2 Tomatoes
  • ½ Cup Cashew Nut (Kaju) Paste
  • ½ Cup Cream (Malai)
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Ginger-Garlic (Adrak-Lehsun) Paste
  • 4-5 Black Peppercorns (Sabut Kali Mirch)
  • 4-5 Cloves (Laung)
  • 2-3 Cinnamon Sticks (Dalchini)
  • 2-3 Cardamom (Elaichi)
  • 2 Bay Leaves (Tej Patta)
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1-1..5 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  • 1.5-2 Teaspoon Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Dried Fenugreek (Kasuri Methi)
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Oil
Procedure:
  1. Shallow fry the cashew nuts.
  2. Now heat some oil and add cumin seeds, black peppercorns, cloves, cinnamon sticks, cardamom and bay leaves. Stir well.
  3. Add onion paste and stir till it turns golden brown.
  4. Add ginger garlic paste and stir well.
  5. Now add tomato puree and cashew nut paste. Stir well.
  6. Add cream and stir well
  7. Add turmeric powder, dhana jeera powder, red chilli powder and mix well.
  8. Add shallow fried cashew nuts and stir well.
  9. Add water and prepare the gravy.
  10. Add salt as per taste and mix well.
  11. Add garam masala and dried fenugreek and mix well.
  12. Close lid and cook for 3-5 minutes.
  13. Kaju Curry Masala is ready.
