Palak Nu Shaak | Gujarati Everyday Recipe | Gujarati Rasoi

In this video we will show you Palak Nu Shaak banavani rit. Gujarati palak nu shaak recipe is very easy and a tasty recipe to enjoy for lunch. This recipe has the prominent taste of garlic as it includes the spicy garlic-red chilli chutney. In this recipe we have added some gram flour to give the recipe a nice texture. Recipe: Ingredients:
  • 500 Grams of Finely Chopped Spinach (Palak)
  • 1 Tablespoon Gram Flour (Besan)
  • 8-10 Garlic Cloves (Lehsun)
  • 2 Teaspoon Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • ½ Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • Salt
  • Oil
Procedure:
  1. In a mixer make coarse chutney of garlic cloves and red chilli powder.
  2. Heat some oil and add cumin seeds, asafoetida and the prepared garlic chutney.
  3. Fry the ingredients well.
  4. Now add turmeric powder and gram flour. Roast the flour well.
  5. Add chopped spinach stir till it settles down.
  6. Close lid and cook on a medium flame
  7. Add some salt and mix well.
  8. Cook for a while and Gujarati Palak Nu Shaak is ready.
