Shiro is a traditional Gujarati sweet recipe. Shiro is often prepared during auspicious occasions and during pujas as a prasad. This shiro prasad recipe is prepared using Mag Ni Dal. Magdal No Shiro is a very popular recipe in Gujarat and a must try recipe.

Ingredients:
- 2 Cups of Moong Dal
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Cup Warm Milk
- ½ Teaspoon Cardamom (Elaichi) Powder
- Some Chopped Pistachios (Pista)
- Cashew Nuts (Kaju)
- Chopped Almonds (Badam)
- Ghee
- Soak moong dal for 6-7 hours and grind it coarsely.
- Heat some ghee and roast the grinded moong dal on a medium flame for 15-20 minutes.
- Once it becomes golden brown, add sugar and let it dissolve.
- Add warm milk and let it get absorbed.
- Add cardamom powder, chopped pistachios, chopped cashew nuts and chopped almonds.
- Stir well and Mag Ni Dal No Shiro is ready.
