  • 2 Cups Urad Dal
  • ½ Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
  • 4-5 Finely Chopped Green Chillies (Hari Mirch)
  • 1.5-2 Finely Chopped Ginger (Adrak)
  • 7-8 Finely Chopped Curry Leaves (Kadi Patta)
  • Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
  • Salt
  • Oil
Procedure:
  1. Soak urad dal for 4-5 hours and then grind it into thick paste without adding water.
  2. Now to the urad dal paste add asafoetida, finely chopped green chillies, finely chopped ginger, finely chopped curry leaves and finely chopped coriander leaves. Mix well.
  3. Now apply some water to your hands and prepare the medu vadas
  4. Deep fry the vadas in oil.
  5. Fry the medu vadas well from all sides.
  6. Serve Medu Vada with sambar and chutney.
