  • 400 Grams Paneer Cubes
  • ½ Cup Curd (Dahi)
  • 2 Finely Chopped Onions
  • Puree of 2-3 Tomatoes
  • 2-3 Teaspoons Ginger- Garlic (Adrak-Lehsun) Paste
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • 2-3 Cloves (Laung)
  • 4-5 Black Peppercorns (Sabut Kali Mirch)
  • 2-3 Cinnamon Sticks (Dalchini)
  • 2-3 Bay Leaves (Tej Patta)
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  • 2 Teaspoon Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1 Teaspoon Dried Fenugreek Leaves (Kasuri Methi)
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Ghee
Procedure:
  1. Shallow fry paneer cubes in ghee.
  2. Now heat ghee and cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon sticks, black peppercorns and bay leaves. Stir well.
  3. Add finely chopped onions and stir till it turns transparent.
  4. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté it well.
  5. Add tomato puree and cook it well.
  6. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, dhana jeera powder and mix well.
  7. Add curd and mix well.
  8. Add water as per requirement and stir well.
  9. Add shallow fried paneer cubes and salt. Stir well.
  10. Close lid and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  11. Add garam masala and dried fenugreek leaves. Mix well.
  12. Close lid and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  13. Punjabi style Paneer Masala is ready.
