  • 2.5 Cups of Gram Flour (Besan)
  • 2 Finely Chopped Onions
  • 1 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds (Rai)
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • ¼ Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
  • 10-12 Curry Leaves (Kadi Patta)
  • 2-3 Teaspoons Green Chilli-Garlic (Hari Mirch- Lehsun) Paste
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
  • Water
  • Salt
  • Oil
Procedure:
  1. In gram flour add some water and prepare a smooth batter.
  2. Heat oil and mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida and curry leaves. Stir well.
  3. Add chopped onions and stir till it turns golden brown.
  4. Add turmeric powder and green chilli- garlic paste. Stir fry the paste well.
  5. Now add the gram flour batter and mix well.
  6. Add some water, salt and stir well on a low flame.
  7. Close lid and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  8. Add some coriander leaves and Besan Marcha Nu Shaak is ready.
