But today we will make Shimla marcha nu bharthu which is a tasty Shimla marcha nu shaak which you can enjoy with phulka or roti. This Shimla marcha nu shaak banavani rit is very simple and consists of capsicum and grated potatoes cooked in some traditional spices.   • 4-5 Finely Chopped Capsicum (Shimla Mirch)
  • 3-4 Boiled & Grated Potatoes
  • 3-4 Finely Chopped Onion
  • 10-12 Finely Chopped Garlic Cloves (Lehsun)
  • 2-3 Teaspoons Green Chilli (Hari Mirch) Paste
  • 12-15 Curry Leaves (Kadi Patta)
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
  • Salt
  • Oil
Procedure:
  1. Heat oil and add cumin seeds, chopped garlic and curry leaves. Stir it well.
  2. Add chopped onions and stir till it turns transparent.
  3. Add finely chopped capsicum and stir well.
  4. Add green chilli paste and mix well.
  5. Close lid and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add turmeric powder, grated and boiled potatoes and sat as per taste. Mix well.
  7. Close lid and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Add some coriander leaves and Shimla Marcha Nu Bhartu is ready to eat.
