Traditionally this Pudla is prepared on special occasions and that to in huge tawa. Pudla party is famous in Rajkot in which this Mahika Na Pudla are prepared in large quantities. Recipe: Ingredients:
  • 4-5 Cups of Gram Flour (Besan)
  • 200 Grams Finely Chopped Fenugreek (Methi)
  • 150 Grams Spring Onions
  • 10-12 Finely Chopped Garlic Cloves (Lehsun)
  • 10-12 Finely Chopped Green Chillies (Hari Mirch)
  • 1 Teaspoon Carom Seeds (Ajwain)
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • ½ Teaspoon Black Pepper (Kali Mirch) Powder
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Oil
Procedure:
  1. In gram flour, add carom seeds, cumin seeds, black pepper powder, chopped garlic, chopped green chillies, fenugreek, spring onion, salt and water.
  2. Make a thick batter out of it.
  3. On a pan spread some oil evenly.
  4. Add the batter and make a thick and round Pudla by spreading it evenly using your palms.
  5. Roast it well from both sides on a medium flame.
  6. Mahika Na Pudla is ready.
