Paneer Do Pyaza | Paneer Nu Shaak | Gujarati Rasoi

Paneer Do Pyaza is a popular Paneer Nu Shaak which is usually available in the restaurants. Now you can make restaurant style Paneer Do Pyaza at your home. This Paneer recipe is prepared by cooking stir fired paneer and onions in a tomato- onion based gravy. Enjoy this recipe with Butter Naan or Kulcha. Recipe: Ingredients:
  • 250 Grams Paneer Cubes
  • 2 Cubed Onion Slices
  • 3-4 Finely Chopped Onions
  • Puree of 3 Tomatoes
  • 3-4 Splitted Green Chillies (Hari Mirch)
  • 2-3 Teaspoons Ginger Garlic (Adrak-Lehsun) Paste
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1.5-2 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Power
  • 2 Teaspoons Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Kitchen King Masala
  • 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
  • Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Water
Procedure:
  1. Shallow fry paneer cubes and onion slices.
  2. Heat oil and add cumin seeds, chopped onions and stir till it turns golden brown.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste and stir well.
  4. Add tomato puree and mix well.
  5. Add turmeric powder, dhana jeera powder, red chilli powder and mix well.
  6. Now add shallow fried onion slices and paneer cubes. Mix well.
  7. Add salt, water and mix well.
  8. Close lid and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Add kitchen king masala, garam masala and splitted green chillies.
  10. Close lid and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  11. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  12. Paneer Do Pyaza is ready.
