Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Cashew Nuts (Kaju)
- ½ Cup of Sugar
- ½ Cup Water
- ½ Teaspoon Cardamom (Elaichi) Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Ghee
- Grind the cashew nuts to make fine powder out of it. Make sure the powder does not turn into paste.
- In a pan add sugar and water. Dissolve the sugar well in the water.
- Once the sugar is completely dissolved and mixture starts to boil add the cashew powder and roast it well.
- The mixture will start to leave the pan, add cardamom powder and ghee.
- Switch off the gas and stir for some time.
- Now remove the mixture in a greased plate and cool it while stirring it continuously.
- Now on a flat surface, keep a butter paper and flatten the mixture over it.
- While it is warm cut it into diamond shaped pieces.
- Let it cool down and set.
- Kaju Katli is ready to eat.
