This simple sweet recipe can be prepared quickly as it involves minimum ingredients and a short procedure. Kaju Katli is a famous Indian sweet recipe prepared from cashew nuts and sugar. So do try out this sweet recipe and let us know about the taste in the comment box. Recipe: Ingredients:
  • 1 Cup Cashew Nuts (Kaju)
  • ½ Cup of Sugar
  • ½ Cup Water
  • ½ Teaspoon Cardamom (Elaichi) Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Ghee
Procedure:
  1. Grind the cashew nuts to make fine powder out of it. Make sure the powder does not turn into paste.
  2. In a pan add sugar and water. Dissolve the sugar well in the water.
  3. Once the sugar is completely dissolved and mixture starts to boil add the cashew powder and roast it well.
  4. The mixture will start to leave the pan, add cardamom powder and ghee.
  5. Switch off the gas and stir for some time.
  6. Now remove the mixture in a greased plate and cool it while stirring it continuously.
  7. Now on a flat surface, keep a butter paper and flatten the mixture over it.
  8. While it is warm cut it into diamond shaped pieces.
  9. Let it cool down and set.
  10. Kaju Katli is ready to eat.
