Bread Pakoda | Indian Pakora Recipe | Gujarati Rasoi

Bread Pakoda is a famous street food of Mumbai. This quick pakora recipe consists of bread dipped in besan batter and deep fried in oil. This pakora recipe is enjoyed with a cup of tea or with spicy green chutney. Recipe: Ingredients:
  • Bread Slices
  • 1.5-2 Cups of Gram Flour (Besan)
  • 1 Teaspoon Ginger-Garlic (Adrak-Lehsun) Paste
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Carom Seeds (Ajwain)
  • Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Oil
Procedure:
  1. In gram flour add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, dhana jeera powder, carom seeds, ginger garlic paste, salt and coriander leaves.
  2. Add water and make the batter for the pakoras.
  3. Dip the triangular bread slices in the batter and fry it in oil.
  4. Once they are fried from all sides, remove them in a plate.
  5. Bread Pakoda is ready, serve it with tomato sauce and green chutney.
