Shakarpara With Ice Cream | Diwali Special Recipe | Gujarati Rasoi

Gujarati Rasoi presents a new way to present the tradional Diwali recipe of shakkarpara with the twist of cold ice cream and yummy chocolate sauce. This ice cream recipe is a tasty combination of crispy shakkar para and chilled ice cream. Recipe: Ingredients-
  • 250 Grams of Refined Flour (Maida)
  • 1 Cup of Powdered Sugar
  • 4-5 Teaspoons of Clarified Butter (Ghee)
  • Salt
  • Warm Water
  • 1 Scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Chocolate Sauce
  1. Take 250 grams of refined flour i.e. maida.
  2. Add 1 cup of powdered sugar, salt as per taste and 4-5 teaspoons of ghee.
  3. Mix all the ingredients well and warm water to knead the dough. [Note: warm water helps to make the shankarpalis/ shakkar paras crispy]
  4. Now roll the dough and cut out medium sized square pieces.
  5. Fry these square pieces deep in clarified butter (ghee).
  6. Place these Shankarpalis/ Shakkarparas in a dish, add some yummy chocolate sauce.
  7. Add a scoop of ice cream and ice cream shankarpalis/ shakkar paras are ready.
