Sabudana Khichdi | Navratri Upvas Recipes | Navratri 2018

Recipe: Ingredients:
  • 300 Grams Soaked Sago (Sabudana)
  • ¾ Cup Roasted Peanut (Singdana) Powder
  • 2 Boiled & Cubed Potatoes
  • 3-4 Dried Red Chillies (Lal Sukhi Mirch)
  • 2-3 Finely Chopped Green Chillies (Hari Mirch)
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • 10-12 Curry Leaves (Kadi Patta)
  • 1 Teaspoon Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Sugar
  • Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
  • Juice of 1 Lemon
  • Salt
  • Oil
Method:
  1. Heat oil and add cumin seeds, curry leaves, dried red chillies and finely chopped green chillies. Sauté it well.
  2. Add potatoes and mix well.
  3. Add red chilli powder and mix well.
  4. Now add soaked sago and mix well with the masalas. Soak sago for 4-5 hours.
  5. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add roasted peanut powder and salt.
  7. Close lid and cook for 3-5 minutes on a medium flame.
  8. Add lemon juice, sugar and coriander leaves.
  9. Mix well.
  10. Farali Sabudana Khichdi is ready.
