Upvas is a very important season of our food calendar and to enjoy this season Upvas Kadhi is a perfect recipe to make. With the traditional taste of Gujarati Kadhi and rajgira this upvas kadhi recipe is not only easy to make but is prepared with minimum ingredients. The tadka of green chilies and curry leaves gives the kadhi a spicy taste. Do try out this recipe and enjoy it with Upvas Rice. Recipe: Ingredients:
  • 1 Cup Dahi
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Tablespoon Rajgira Flour
  • 2 Chopped Green Chilies
  • 8-10 Curry Leaves (Kadi Patta)
  • 1 Teaspoon Jeera
  • 2 Teaspoon Sugar
  • Ghee
  • Salt
Procedure:
  1. Whisk dahi, water, rajgira flour, salt and sugar well.
  2. Now in a vessel heat some ghee and add jeera, kadi patta and green chilies.
  3. Fry them well and then add the whisked mixture.
  4. Let the mixture boil and then add the coriander leaves.
  5. Quick Upvas Kadhi is ready.
