Farali Bataka Nu Rasavalu Shaak | Bataka Nu Shaak | Gujarati Rasoi

Navratri is the season of Garba, Mataji s Puja and Upvas. For the upvas of Navratri we would like to bring you a different Farali recipe made from potatoes. This Farali Bataka Nu Shaak is a gravy based shaak recipe. Rasavalu Bataka Nu Shaak can be enjoyed with Rajgira No Rotlo or with Moraiyo Khichdi. So this recipe can be a good alternative to usual Farali Upvas Recipes. Recipe: Ingredients:
  • 3-4 Diced Potatoes
  • ¼ Cup Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
  • ½ Cup of Roasted Peanut (Singdana)
  • 8-10 Green Chillies (Hari Mirch)
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Water
Procedure:
  1. Make a paste of roasted peanuts and green chillies.
  2. Now heat oil and add cumin seeds and coriander leaves. Stir well.
  3. Add the potatoes and stir it well for some time.
  4. Add the paste and mix well.
  5. Add water and salt. Mix well.
  6. Close lid and cook for 3-5 minutes.
  7. Farali Bataka Nu Shaak is ready to eat with hot Farali Rotlo.
