Doodh Pak | Gujarati Sweet Dish | Gujarati Rasoi

Doodh Pak is a traditional Gujarati sweet dish. This Gujarati sweet recipe is prepared from milk and with little amount of rice. The most characteristic ingredient of this dessert recipe is charoli (chironji) which is added to the milk. Addition of chopped dry fruits give a nice flavor to the recipe. Recipe: Ingredients:
  • 1 Litre Milk
  • ½ Cup of Basmati Rice
  • ¾ Cup of Sugar
  • 2 Teaspoon Charoli (Chironji)
  • ¼ Teaspoon Cardamom (Elaichi) Powder
  • Chopped Almonds (Almonds)
  • Chopped Cashew Nuts (Kaju)
Procedure:
  1. Heat milk and add rice to it.
  2. Stir it and let the milk simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Add sugar and stir till it dissolves completely.
  4. Add cardamom powder, charoli, chopped almonds and chopped cashew nuts.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Doodh Pak is ready.
