Tilwale Aloo | Bataka Nu Shaak | Gujarati Rasoi

Aloo Sabzi is a popular delicacy prepared in every kitchen of India. Aloo ki Sabzi can be prepared in various ways and one of the way to prepare it is with sesame seeds. Sesame Potato or Tilwale Aloo is an easy to make Aloo recipe which consists of potato cooked in a masala of curry leaves, dried red chilies and safed til.   • 8-10 Diced Potatoes
  • 3-4 Teaspoons Sesame Seeds (Safed Til)
  • 5-6 Dried Red Chilies
  • 10-12 Curry Leaves
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 2 Teaspoons Dhana Jeera Powder
  • 1 ½ Teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
  • Salt
  • Oil
Procedure:
  1. Heat some oil and add the sesame seeds and fry them well.
  2. Now add curry leaves and red chilies and stir it well.
  3. Add the diced potatoes and mix well. Let it cook for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add turmeric powder, dhana jeera powder, kali mirch powder and salt.
  5. Mix it well.
  6. Cook for a while and tilwale aloo are ready to enjoy.
