Tawa Paneer | Paneer Nu Shaak | Gujarati Rasoi

Tawa Paneer is a tasty Paneer Sabzi to enjoy with hot Naan or Paratha. This recipe consists of Paneer cooked in some special spices and topped with fresh spring onions. This paneer sabzi is cooked in onion tomato based gravy and is prepared in a flat utensil like Tawa or Pan. Do prepare this Paneer ki sabji and let us know about the test in the comment section. Recipe: Ingredients:
  • 250 Grams Paneer
  • ½ Cup Spring Onions
  • 1 Cup Chopped Onion
  • Puree of 2 Tomatoes
  • ¾ Cup Fresh Cream
  • 3 Chopped Green Chilies
  • 2 Teaspoon Ginger Paste
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 2 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Amchur Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Cardamom Powder
  • 2 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 2 Teaspoon Butter
  • Salt
Procedure:
  1. In a pan, melt 2 teaspoon butter.
  2. Add carom seed s, add chopped onion and fry it till turns golden brown.
  3. Now add chopped green chilies, ginger paste and mix well.
  4. Add chopped spring onions and cook them well.
  5. Now add the tomato puree and mix well with the other ingredients.
  6. Add fresh cream and stir well.
  7. Now add turmeric powder, red chili powder, dhana jeera powder, amchur powder and elaichi powder.
  8. Mix the masalas well.
  9. Add salt as per taste and mix well.
  10. Add the diced paneer pieces and mix them well with the masala.
  11. Add some spring onions and cook the sabzi for a while.
