Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 200 gm Cottage Cheese (Paneer)
- 6 Tomatoes
- 3- 4 Green chillies
- 1 -1.5 inch Ginger
- ¾ Cup of Curd
- ¼ Teaspoon of Turmeric Powder
- 2 Teaspoon of Coriander-Cumin Seed Powder
- 2 Teaspoon of Red Chilli Powder
- 1 Teaspoon of Garam Masala
- Salt
- Sugar
- Clarified Butter
- Make a paste of green chillies and ginger.
- In a blend the tomatoes with curd in a food processor.
- Now in a shallow bottomed utensil, add 3 -4 teaspoons of clarified butter (Desi Ghee).
- Once the ghee gets heated, add the green chillies- ginger paste and fry the paste properly.
- Now add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander-cumin seed powder and garam masala. Fry the spices and cook them well.
- Once the spices are cooked, add the tomato-curd paste and stir the ingredients well.
- Cover the lid and cook the tomatoes for about 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, add water for a gravy consistency.
- Add salt and sugar as per taste.
- Grate fresh Cottage Cheese (Paneer) and cook it for another 5 minutes.
- Royal Cottage Cheese (Shahi Paneer) is ready to relish.
