Methi Palak Paneer | Paneer Nu Shaak | Gujarati Rasoi

We would like to bring a different Paneer Nu Shaak recipe which consists of healthy ingredients like palak & methi. Methi Palak Paneer recipe is prepared by cooking paneer in some spices along with spinach & fenugreek. This recipe can be a nice alternative for your dinner. This recipe can be enjoyed with Kulcha or Naan. Recipe: Ingredients:
  • 250 Grams Paneer Cubes
  • 250 Grams Finely Chopped Spinach (Palak)
  • 250 Grams Finely Chopped Fenugreek (Methi)
  • 1 Finely Chopped Onion
  • 1 Chopped Tomato
  • 5-6 Finely Chopped Green Chillies (Hari Mirch)
  • 7-8 Finely Chopped Garlic Cloves (Lehsun)
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • ½ Teaspoon Asafetida (Hing)
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Sugar
  • Salt
  • Oil
Procedure:
  1. Shallow Fry Paneer Cubes in oil.
  2. In the same pan, add cumin seeds, asafetida, finely chopped green chillies, finely chopped garlic cloves and stir well.
  3. Add finely chopped onion & stir till it turns transparent.
  4. Add chopped tomato and stir well.
  5. Now add turmeric powder and mix well.
  6. Add finely chopped spinach and let it settle down.
  7. Also add finely chopped fenugreek and let it settle.
  8. Close lid & cook for 2-3 minutes on medium gas.
  9. Add red chilli powder, salt & sugar. Mix well.
  10. Add the shallow fried paneer pieces & mix well.
  11. Close lid & cook for 2-3 minutes.
  12. Methi Palak Paneer is ready to eat.
