This recipe consists of healthy methi cooked in traditional sengdana (peanut) gravy. The gravy is given a spicy taste with fresh green chilies. This quick recipe is common in the villages. - 300 Grams Methi (Fenugreek)
- ½ Cup Roasted Peanuts
- 12-15 Green Chilies
- 8-10 Garlic Cloves
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- ½ Teaspoon Asafoetida
- Salt
- Oil
- In a grinder make a paste of peanuts, green chilies, cumin seeds and garlic.
- Now in a utensil heat some oil and add asafetida.
- Add the fenugreek and cook for 3-4 minutes and then turn over and again cook for 3-4 mi-nutes till the methi is reduced.
- Add the previously made peanut paste and mix well.
- Add water as per requirement and add salt as per taste.
- Cook with closed lid for 5-7 minutes.
- Methi Peanut Curry is ready.
