Kolanu raitu recipe is a quick recipe to make which makes the normal pumpkin a tasty vegetable. This pumpkin recipe consists of a hint of whole green chilies which makes the raita spicy and on the contrary the dahi makes it sweet and sour. This mixture of tastes makes this pumpkin a recipe a must try recipe. Recipe: Ingredients:
  • 300 Grams Diced Pumpkin
  • 4-5 Split Green Chilies
  • 4 Teaspoons Dahi
  • 1 Teaspoon Sugar
  • Pinch of Asafoetida (hing)
  • 2 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • Salt
Procedure:
  1. In a cooker steam pumpkin and green chilies.
  2. Now mash the pumpkin and green chilies.
  3. Add salt, sugar and dahi. Mix well.
  4. For the tampering add mustard seeds and hing in hot oil and add this tadka to the raita.
  5. Pumpkin raita is ready.
