Jeera Rice | Rice Recipe | Gujarati Rasoi

A simple jeera rice recipe cooked in a preparation of onions and coriander and in a pressure cooker for quick cooking. Do watch the recipe and comment. Recipe: Ingredients:
  • 1 ½ Cup of Basmati Rice
  • 3 Cups of Water
  • 1 Chopped Onion
  • ½ Cup of Coriander Leaves (Dhaniya)
  • 3 Teaspoons of Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • Salt
  • Ghee
Procedure:
  1. Take 3-4 Tablespoons of ghee in a pressure cooker.
  2. Add cumin seeds (jeera) and stir it.
  3. Add chopped onions and stir until it is transparent.
  4. Add coriander leaves, stir it along with the onions.
  5. Now add 1 ½ Cup of washed basmati rice.
  6. Add 3 cups of water and salt as per taste.
  7. Cook in the cooker for 3 whistles.
  8. Jeera rice is ready to relish!
