Instant Rava Dosa | Dosa Recipe | Gujarati Rasoi


Dosa is an all time favourite South Indian recipe and is prepared in various varieties like Butter Dosa, Masala Dosa, Rava Dosa, etc. Dosa usually requires fermentation and is not quick to make. Rava Dosa is a dosa recipe which is quick to make and is very tasty. This rava dosa can be enjoyed with sambar or chutney. Recipe: Ingredients:
  • 2 Cups of Semolina (Rava)
  • 3-4 Teaspoons of All Purpose Flour (Maida)
  • 3-4 Teaspoons of Curd (Dahi)
  • 1.5-2 Teaspoon Crushed Green Chilli-Ginger (Hari Mirch-Adrak)
  • Coriander Leaves
  • Salt
Procedure:
  1. In a mixing bowl, take some semolina, crushed green chilli-ginger, all purpose flour, curd, salt and coriander leaves. Mix it well.
  2. Add some water and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
  3. After resting, if the batter is too thick add some water and mix well.
  4. On a tawa, add some ghee and pour the batter. Spread it evenly.
  5. Let it roast from both sides.
  6. Instant Rava Dosa is ready to eat.
