Ingredients:
- ¾ Cups of Spinach Puree (Palak Puree)
- 2 Cups of Semolina (Rava/Sooji)
- 1.5 Teaspoon of Finely Refined Flour (Maida)
- 1.5 Teaspoon of Gram Flour (Besan)
- ½ Cup of Finely Chopped Onions
- 2 Finely Chopped Green Chillies (Hari Mirch)
- 1 Teaspoon of Red Chilli Powder (Lal Mirch Powder)
- Salt
- Oil
- Water
- In a mixing bowl, take semolina (rava/sooji), finely refined flour (maida), gram flour (besan), chopped onions, chopped green chillies, red chilli powder (lal mirch powder), palak puree (spinach puree) and salt.
- Mix the ingredients well. Add sufficient water so that the batter for the uttapam is ready as shown in the video.
- Now, on a flat bottomed vessel pour some oil.
- Pour the batter and spread it in a circular manner to make a perfect circle for the uttapam.
- Cook it from both sides.
- 6. Enjoy the green uttapam with tomato red chutney or with white coconut chutney.
