Gajjar No Halvo | Gajar Ka Halwa | Gujarati Rasoi

No winter is complete without fresh and sweet Gajar Halwa. This traditional recipe is enjoyed all over India by all communities and is prepared especially in winter due to availability of fresh and red carrots. Gajar Halwa is extremely easy recipe and does not require any special ingredients like milkmaid, etc. To give it the authentic taste prepare this recipe in desi ghee as we have done in our recipe.   • 700 Grams Carrots
  • 300 Grams Sugar
  • 2 Cups Milk
  • ¾ Cup Cream
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
  • Ghee
Method –
  1. Heat around 3 tablespoons of ghee and add the grated carrots in it.
  2. Keep stirring the carrots till the moisture evaporates.
  3. Add cream and milk and stir well.
  4. Add sugar and stir till the sugar melts completely.
  5. Add elaichi powder and Gajjar ka halwa is ready.
  6. Garnish it with chopped kaju and badam.
