- 10-15 Baby Onions
- Paste of 2 Onions
- Puree of 2 Tomatoes
- 4-5 Chopped Green Chillies
- 2 Teaspoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
- ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 2 Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
- 2 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
- 2 Teaspoon Roasted Peanut Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
- Juice of 1 Lemon
- Coriander Leaves
- Salt
- Oil
- Shallow fry the baby onions till they turn golden brown.
- Heat oil and add chopped green chillies and ginger-garlic paste. Fry well.
- Now add onion paste and sauté it well.
- Add tomato puree and cook well.
- Now add turmeric powder, dhana jeera powder and red chilli powder.
- Add water as per requirement.
- Add salt as per taste, garam masala, roasted peanut powder and lemon juice.
- Mix all the ingredients well.
- Add the shallow fried baby onions and mix well with the masala.
- Close lid and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish it with coriander leaves and dungri nu shaak is ready to eat.
