Churma Modak Recipe | Ganesh Chaturthi Recipe | Gujarati Rasoi


Churma Ladoo is a traditional recipe of Rajasthan which often made on festive occasions. Taking the flavors of churma ladoo we like to present churma modaks for the festive season of Ganesh Chaturthi. This Ganesh Chaturthi do try out mouth watering churma modak and enjoy it with your friends and family. Recipe: Ingredients:
  • 2 Cups of Wheat
  • ½ Cup of Suji
  • ½ Cup of Ghee
  • Milk
Procedure:
  1. In 2 cups of wheat mix ½ cup of suji, ½ cup of ghee and milk as per requirement to knead a stiff dough.
  2. Know make muthiyas of the dough and deep fry them in ghee till they turn golden brown.
  3. Break the muthiyas into pieces and let them cool at room temperature.
  4. Know in a grinder make a powder of the muthiyas.
  5. In a kadhai heat ½ cup of ghee and ½ cup of jaggery.
  6. Melt the jaggery and immediately pour the mixture to the churma.
  7. Mix the jaggery mixture well with churma.
  8. Know when the mixture is hot make modaks out of it using modak mould.
  9. Churma Modaks are ready to serve.
