Aloo Roti | Breakfast Recipe | Gujarati Rasoi

A simple and quick breakfast recipes made from boiled potatoes and spiced with green chilies. Aloo Roti unlike Aloo Paratha is made with maida to make the roti crispy and tastier. The triangle cuts made to the roti makes it easy to it by dipping it in mint chutney or sauce. Do try out and let us know how the recipe was. Recipe: Ingredients:
  • 6 Boiled Potatoes
  • 3 Cups of Maida
  • 1 Cup Chopped Coriander
  • 4-5 Crushed Green Chilies
  • ½ Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ Teaspoon Dried Mango Powder (Amchur Powder)
  • 2 Teaspoon Ghee
  • Salt
Procedure:
  1. Mash 6 boiled potatoes.
  2. Add crushed green chilies, baking soda, amchur powder, salt, coriander leaves and mix well.
  3. Now add 3 cups of maida and a make smooth dough.
  4. Roll out this dough and cut it into four pieces.
  5. Apply ghee and roast the pieces.
  6. Aloo Roti is ready serve with mint chutney or sauce.
