Veg Crispy | Chinese Recipe | Gujarati Rasoi

Veg Crispy is an all time favourite Chinese starter that we often order whenever we visit a Chinese restaurant. We would like to bring you this tasty recipe and make it simple to make at home. Veg Crispy consists of crispy fried vegetables sautéed in Chinese flavoured sauce. This recipe will show you how to maintain the crispiness of the vegetables in this restaurant style Veg Crispy recipe. Recipe: Ingredients –
  • ½ Cup Cauliflower
  • ½ Cup Capsicum
  • ½ Cup Cabbage
  • ½ Cup French Beans
  • ½ Cup Baby Corn
  • ½ Cup Onion
  • ½ Cup Maida
  • ¼ Cup Corn Flour
  • 1 Cup Julienned Cabbage
  • 1 Cup Chopped Onion
  • ½ Cup Spring Onion Leaves
  • 4-5 Chopped Garlic Cloves
  • 1 Inch Chopped Garlic
  • 4-5 Split Green Chillies
  • 1 Teaspoon Soy Sauce
  • 3-4 Teaspoon Red Chilli Sauce
  • 4-5 Teaspoon Tomato Sauce
  • 2 Pinch of Black Pepper Powder
  • Salt
Method –
  1. To make the sauce heat some oil and add garlic, ginger and green chillies.
  2. Now add chopped onion and stir till it turns transparent.
  3. Add cabbage, spring onion and salt. Sit well.
  4. Add soy sauce, red chilli sauce and tomato sauce. Stir well.
  5. In 2 teaspoons corn flour, add water and make a thick paste. Add this mixture to the sauce.
  6. Now make a batter consisting of maida, corn flour, pepper powder and salt.
  7. Dip cauliflower, cabbage, capsicum, onion, baby corn in the batter and deep fry it.
  8. Now add the deep fried vegetables to the sauce and stir well.
  9. Veg Crispy is ready to eat.
