Kheer is a popular Indian sweet recipe which is prepared in various varieties all over India. Kheer is a very simple dessert recipe which can be enjoyed either hot or cold. Amongst various kheer recipe, Sevai Ki Kheer is a very popular recipe. Sevai Kheer is usually prepared on pious occasions or on eve of festivals like Holi, Diwali, etc. This festival recipe is a quick dessert recipe which one can prepare within minutes and serve it to friends and family. Sevai or Vermicelli is usually prepared from rice flour and the combination of rice and milk is what makes Kheer an excellent dessert to enjoy. Recipe: Ingredients –
  • 1 Cup Sevai (Vermicelli)
  • 1 Litre Milk
  • 10 Teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Cardamom Powder
  • Chopped Pistachios
  • Chopped Almonds
  • 2 Tablespoons Clarified Butter (Ghee)
Method –
  1. Heat ghee and fry the vermicelli well.
  2. Add milk and let it boil.
  3. After a boil add sugar.
  4. Add cardamom powder, pistachios and almonds.
  5. Stir well.
  6. Kheer is ready to enjoy.
