Punjabi Paneer Kofta | Veg Kofta Recipe | Gujarati Rasoi

A easy to make kofta recipe with kofta made up of paneer, green chillies and fresh coriander. This paneer recipe is preapared in a gravy of fresh onions, tomatoes and indian spices. Do try out and don’t forget to comment. Recipe: Ingredients:
  • 400 grams Grated Cottage Cheese (Paneer)
  • 2 Tablespoons Refined Flour (Maida)
  • 5-6 Roughly sliced Onions
  • 3 Tomatoes
  • 1 Cup of Fresh Cream
  • Green Chillies
  • 10-15 Garlic Gloves
  • 2 Inch Ginger
  • 4-5 Cloves
  • 4-5 Black Peppercorns
  • 2 Small Cinnamon Sticks
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • ¼ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 2 Teaspoon Coriander Seed-Cumin Seed Powder
  • 4 Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
  • ½ Cup of Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • Salt
  1. In 400 grams of panner, add 2 tablespoons of refined flour, 3-4 chopped green chillies and coriander leaves and salt as per taste.
  2. Mix the above ingredients and make a dough for koftas. Now make small balls out of the dough.
  3. Fry these balls (kofta) tilll they turn golden brown.
  4. Now make a paste of 5-6 onions, 5-6 Green chillies,10-15 garlic cloves and 2 inch ginger.
  5. Also make a paste of toamtoes and cream.
  6. Now in an utensil, heat some oil add cloves, black peppercorns, cinnamon and bay leaf.
  7. Once the masala starts crackling add the onion paste and fry it properly till onions turn brownish.
  8. Now add toamto paste and cook it with closed lid for 5 minutes.
  9. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and coriander seed-cumin seed powder.
  10. Close the lid and cook for 5 minutes till the oil sepearates out.
  11. Add water as per requirement and stir.
  12. Add salt as per taste and let the gravy boil.
  13. Add ½ teaspoon of garam masala and the koftas. Cook for another 3 minutes with closed lid.
  14. Garnish with coriander leaves and kofta curry is ready to serve.
