Methi Na Gota Recipe is a popular Gujarati Snack recipe which is often enjoyed with a cup of tea. Methi Na Gota are also a well known street food delicacy evident all over the state of Gujarat. Methi Na Gota is a quick recipe which consists of Methi mixed with gram flour and some traditional Gujarati spices and deep fried in oil. These deep fried fritters can be served with green chillies and onions sprinkled with salt and red chilli powder.   • 1.5 Cup Fenugreek Leaves (Methi)
  • 3 Cups Gram Flour (Besan)
  • 1 Cup Coriander Leaves
  • ¼ Cup Semolina (Rava)
  • 8-10 Crushed Green Chillies
  • 1 Teaspoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  • ½ Teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
  • Salt
Method –
  1. Mix fenugreek leaves, gram flour, coriander leaves, semolina, crushed green chillies, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, dhana jeera powder, black pepper powder, salt and water to form the batter for the fritters.
  2. Make a thick batter.
  3. Pour some (2-3 teaspoons) hot oil in batter to make the fritters crispy.
  4. Now with the help of a spoon drop small portions of the batter in hot oil and deep fry it.
  5. Fenugreek Fritters and ready to eat.
  6. Serve it with green chillies and onions.
