Marcha Na Bhajiya | Bhajiya Recipes | Gujarati Rasoi

This rainy season enjoy spicy and tasty marcha na bhajiya. This is a quick bhajiya recipe which can be enjoyed with a cup of a tea on a rainy day. This simple recipe consists of salted green chillies dipped in batter and fried till crisp brown. Recipe: Ingredients:
  • Green Chillies
  • 1.5 Cup Gram Flour (Besan)
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • ¾ Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder (Lal Mirch)
  • ½ Teaspoon Soda
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Oil
Method:
  1. Take some less spicy and long green chillies and make a slit in them. Remove the seeds.
  2. Rub some salt inside the slit.
  3. For the batter mix gram flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, soda and water.
  4. Dip the green chillies in the batter and deep fry them.
  5. Fry till they turn golden brown.
  6. Marcha na Bhajiya are ready to eat.
