In this season of corn, we would like to bring Makai Na Vada recipe. This vadas are prepared from corn flour and with some traditional spices. You can store these vadas for a longer period of time. These vadas are enjoyed best with a cup of tea. Makai Na Vada recipe is a very tasty and easy to make recipe. Recipe: Ingredients:
  • 2 Cups of Corn Flour (Makai ka Atta)
  • 1 Cup of Wheat Flour (Gehun ka Atta)
  • ¾ Cup of Curd (Dahi)
  • 1-1.5 Green Chilli (Hari Mirch) Paste
  • 1-1.5 Ginger-Garlic (Adrak-Lehsun) Paste
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • ¼ Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoon Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1 Teaspoon Jaggery (Gud)
  • 1.5-2 Teaspoon Sesame Seeds (Safed Til)
  • Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
  • Oil
  • Water
  • Salt
Procedure:
  1. In corn flour, add wheat flour, turmeric powder, asafoetida, red chilli powder, dhana jeera powder, garam masala, green chilli paste, ginger-garlic paste, jaggery, sesame seeds, curd, coriander leaves and salt.
  2. Add 1-2 teaspoons of oil and mix well.
  3. Add water as per requirement and knead a soft dough.
  4. Make flat vadas out of the dough.
  5. Deep fry the vadas.
  6. Makai Na Vada are ready to enjoy with a cup of tea.
