Kansar is a popular Gujarati Sweet recipe which is prepared using cracked wheat and jaggery. Serving Kansar to guests in considered a sign of respect in Gujarati culture. This dish is often prepared in traditional Gujarati wedding ceremonies.

Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Kansar (Cracked Wheat)
- ¾ Cup Jaggery (Gud)
- Ghee
- Water
- In kansar, add 2 teaspoons of ghee and mix well.
- Now boil 2-2.5 cups of water. After water is boiled add 2 teaspoons of ghee and ¾ cup of jaggery.
- Melt the jaggery well in the water.
- Now add the previously made kansar in it.
- Now place this vessel to steam in a cooker.
- Pressure cook for 1 whistle.
- Kansar is ready to eat.
