Green Pulao | Veg Pulao Recipe | Gujarati Rasoi

This green pulao recipe consists of fresh coriander and mint leaves. This recipe is a quick recipe to make and a delicious treat to enjoy. The recipe also consists of garlic and green chilies which gives a spicy taste to the recipe. Do try out this pulao recipe and enjoy it with your friends and family. Recipe: Ingredients –
  • 3 Cups of Basmati Rice
  • 7-8 Garlic Cloves
  • 1.5 Inches of Ginger
  • 8-10 Green Chilies
  • ¼ Cup of Mint Leaves
  • 1 Cup of Coriander Leaves
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • Ghee
  • Water
  • Salt
Method –
  1. Make a paste of ginger, green chilies, garlic, pudina and coriander leaves.
  2. In a cooker heat some ghee and add cumin seeds.
  3. Now add the previously made paste and fry it well.
  4. Add the soaked basmati rice and mix well.
  5. Add 4-5 cups of water and salt as per taste.
  6. Cook for 3 whistles and green pulao is ready.
