Gajjar Kheer or Carrot Kheer is a quick recipe for a delicious tasty dessert. Gajjar Kheer needs minimum ingredients but has maximum taste. Recipe: Ingredients-
  • 4-5 tablespoons of clarified butter (desi ghee)
  • 8-10 Medium Carrots
  • 8-10 cups of Milk
  • 8-10 teaspoons of sugar
  • Pinch of Green Cardamom Powder (Elaichi Powder)
Method-
  1. Add 4-5 tablespoons of clarified butter (ghee) in a deep bottomed utensil and heat the clarified butter (ghee).
  2. Once the ghee is heated, add grated carrots to the vessel and cook it well on medium heat.
  3. When the carrots are cooked add 8 -10 cups of milk. Stir the mixture well.
  4. When the milk comes to a boil, add 8-10 teaspoons of sugar for sweetness.
  5. Switch off the gas when the sugar is completely dissolved in the mixture.
  6. Add a pinch of green cardamom powder.
  7. Your Carrot Kheer is ready, serve it hot or chilled as per your choice.
