Gajjar Kheer or Carrot Kheer is a quick recipe for a delicious tasty dessert. Gajjar Kheer needs minimum ingredients but has maximum taste.
Recipe:
Ingredients-
- 4-5 tablespoons of clarified butter (desi ghee)
- 8-10 Medium Carrots
- 8-10 cups of Milk
- 8-10 teaspoons of sugar
- Pinch of Green Cardamom Powder (Elaichi Powder)
Method-
- Add 4-5 tablespoons of clarified butter (ghee) in a deep bottomed utensil and heat the clarified butter (ghee).
- Once the ghee is heated, add grated carrots to the vessel and cook it well on medium heat.
- When the carrots are cooked add 8 -10 cups of milk. Stir the mixture well.
- When the milk comes to a boil, add 8-10 teaspoons of sugar for sweetness.
- Switch off the gas when the sugar is completely dissolved in the mixture.
- Add a pinch of green cardamom powder.
- Your Carrot Kheer is ready, serve it hot or chilled as per your choice.
