Quick and Easy Sabudana Khichdi Recipe For Vrat/ Upvas. This farali recipe of sabudana is cooked in desi ghee along with spiceness of green chilies and accompained with roasted peanuts. It is a perfect for Navratri Upvas or for Agiyaras. Recipe: Ingredients:
  • 250 Grams Sago (Sabudana)
  • 2 Chopped Potatoes
  • ½ Cup Roasted Peanuts (Singdana) Powder
  • Green Chili Paste
  • 10-15 Curry Leaves (Kadi Patta)
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • Coriander Leaves (Dhaniya)
  • Salt
  • Ghee
Method:
  1. Heat 3-4 Tablespoons desi ghee in pan.
  2. Add cumin seeds (jeera) and curry leaves and let it crackle.
  3. Now add potatoes and cook them with closed lid for 5 minutes.
  4. Add 10-12 crushed green chilies and stir it.
  5. Now add sabudana and mix it well with the other ingredients.
  6. Add peanut powder and salt as per taste.
  7. Close the lid and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Add roughly chopped coriander and mix it.
  9. Sabudana khichdi is ready, serve it with a slice of lemon and dahi.
