Uttapa is a popular South Indian dish. These are like pancakes made from rice batter and some chopped veggies. This recipe is often enjoyed with Sambar & Coconut Chutney.

Ingredients:
- 3 Cups of Rice
- 1.5 Cup of Urad Dal
- 1 Chopped Onion
- 1 Chopped Tomato
- 1 Teaspoon Green Chilli-Ginger Paste(Hari Mirch-Adrak Paste)
- Coriander Leaves
- Salt
- Water
- Oil
- Soak rice and urad dal for 8-10 hours.
- Grind them separately, mix them and make the batter.
- Ferment for 8-10 hours.
- After fermentation add water, tomato, onion, coriander leaves, green chilli paste and salt.
- Mix all the ingredients well and prepare the batter.
- Heat some oil on pan and pour the batter and spread it evenly.
- Keep the uttapa little bit thick.
- Cook from both sides.
- Uttapa is ready.
