Paneer Bhurji | Paneer Nu Shaak | Gujarati Rasoi

Paneer Bhurji is a quick paneeer recipe to make for dinner or on a Sunday. For all the bhurji lovers this recipe encapsulates the essence of bhurji with the creaminess of paneer. As a traditional Bhurji, paneer is cooked with onions, tomatoes and some traditional spices. The surprise element of this recipe is the Pav Bhaji masala which takes the taste of the bhurji to another level.   • 300 Grams of Paneer (Cottage Cheese )
  • 3 Chopped Tomatoes
  • 4-5 Chopped Onions
  • ¾ Cup Malai
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 3 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 2 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Pav Bhaji Masala
  • Handful of Coriander Leaves
  • Salt
Method –
  1. Heat some oil and jeera and stir fry the onions till they golden brown.
  2. Add chopped tomatoes and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Now add malai and stir well.
  4. Add turmeric powder, dhana jeera powder, red chili powder and stir well.
  5. Add the paneer and mix it well with masala.
  6. Add salt as per taste and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add pav bhaji masala and coriander and mix it well.
  8. 8. Paneer Bhurji is ready to relish!
